Doki Kim explores the world and the world behind things in her unique visual language. She uses non-artistic materials to reveal the mechanisms of the world such as light, heat and gravity, in a multi-layered and metaphorical way. Songs for the Night's Breath Call the Day is based on the dreams and stories of the executives and employees recruited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Samyang Group. The Samyang Group has been evolving alongside the countless dreams of its employees, serving as a foundation for their aspirations. When everyone's dreams are translated into Morse code, they generate an endless flow of light, which is then reborn as a guiding beacon that illuminates the past, present and future of the Samyang Group.
