Yuichi Hirako: POSTFOREST

Gallery Baton is pleased to present POSTFOREST, a solo exhibition by Yuichi Hirako (b. 1982), on view from 22 October to 5 December 2026 at the gallery’s Hannam-dong space in Seoul. This marks the artist’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. Working across painting, sculpture and installation, Hirako has developed a distinctive visual language centred on hybrid forms. Through a new body of paintings and sculptures, he considers the forest as a form of nature continually redefined through human consciousness and perception, raising questions about how the nature of the forest may have changed before and after the emergence of human conscious intent.
