Tatsuo Miyajima's 1990s works Lattice B (1990) and Opposite Circle (1991), both of which are in the Tate Collection in the UK, are illuminated again at Tate Modern's exhibition, <Electric Dreams: Art and Technology Before the Internet>.
From the birth of op art to the dawn of the internet age, artists found new ways to engage the senses and play with our perception. The exhibition celebrates the early innovators of optical, kinetic, programmed and digital art, who pioneered a new era of immersive sensory installations and automatically-generated works.
