The first retrospective dedicated exclusively to the video-film production by Liam Gillick. The exhibition, curated by Alberto Salvadori and Andrea Viliani, presents for the first time a selection of the most important videos and films made by the artist, in a setting specifically designed to integrate the vision of his works in the architecture of the museum. Each room will be marked by different but mutually connected works (posters, wall paintings and the sound tracks of the films that randomly switch among the galleries), which will outline a real cognitive journey, even more than an exhibition visit. As if it was a real movie, the exhibition will be preceded by a trailer released through the museum’s digital channels.
